The camp-site Prie Šlavantėlio is located in the area of Veisiejai regional park‚ on the shore of Šlavantėlis lake ‚ completely surrounded by forests. The three other lakes of Šlavantas, Gailuišis and Balsys are within a short distance of the place. All the lakes are suitable for fishing and scuba diving.
A small lake of Šlavantėlis is surrounded by a nice and dry pineforest. One is attracted by the clean and clear water in the lake. The rent of rowing boats and a water bicycle is available for those who enjoy water sports. Lake Šlavantėlis and other surrounding lakes are full of fish, such as pikes, eels, perches, breams, etc. There are plenty of berries and mushrooms in the forests around. Fresh air and a lot of nice smooth paths in the pineforest can serve as a kind of pleasant entertainment for those who like walking or cycling. The rent of bicycles is offered if necessary.
Holiday-makers can choose two-bed or three-bed rooms in a detached house near the lake. There is a bathroom inside and a kitchen with electric stoves, fridges, a dishwasher and all necessary kitchen utensils. There is a fire place outside and a playground for children. Those who want can be provided with fresh natural dairy products.
There is a sauna on the shore of the lake with a little terrace and a nice view of the lake. A relaxing message or a message with bathing brush woods can be offered.
The camp-site is big enough to receive 30 or even more people at a time, though smaller groups are welcome as well the whole year round. For those who prefer to have their holidays in autumn or spring , it is a perfect place to enjoy their rest in the shelter of beautiful and peaceful nature.
The camp-cite is 1,5km from the road Lazdijai-Veisiejai, 17km from Lazdijai and 4km to Veisiejai, a nice urban sample.
The camp-site Prie Šlavantėlio perfectly suits the needs of those who would like to join their rest with some sightseeing, as such famous places of Dzūkija region as Druskininkai, Liškiava, the park of Grūtas and others are easily reached travelling by car.
